Top class racing at SA Short Circuit Series
The SA Short Circuit Series continues to inspire and create SA racing champions in their own right locally and internationally with a pool of talented men and women.
POLOKWANE- It was adrenaline galore for spectators on Saturday as their favourite motorbike riders entered the racing track for the South African Short Circuit Series which was hosted at the Polokwane Kart Circuit.
Fans came in their numbers to enjoy the top class racing event for free, as young and old talented bikers from around the country competed in various categories.
Morné Venter timed the competitors in each round and made sure that the race was going as planned as the energetic commentator, Steven Kernick gave a minute-by-minute update.
The series continues to inspire and create SA racing champions in their own right locally and internationally with a pool of talented men and women who show up, give their all and do what’s necessary to compete.
The management say they aim to create through the events a riding community and ensure sustainable, affordable racing and racing development for the country.
“The series will hopefully encourage new riders, grow the sport and get more South African names onto the international racing stage,” said race secretary Michaela Vorster.
Round 5 of SA Short Circuit Series will be hosted at the Vereeniging Kart Circuit on July 29.
