Louis Trichardt businessman wounds armed robber in parking lot
The businessman reportedly produced a firearm, and the robber was wounded in the arm before fleeing the scene in a vehicle waiting near where the incident occurred.
LIMPOPO – A suspect was shot and wounded after he attempted to rob a businessman outside the parking area near a bank at a major shopping centre in Louis Trichardt last Wednesday morning in an incident that occurred just before 10:00.
The Ethiopian businessman was on his way to the bank to deposit money, when he is said to have been accosted by an armed suspect who demanded the cash.

Makhado police spokesperson, Sergeant Irene Radzilani confirmed the incident and said cases of attempted robbery and attempted murder had been opened.
She appealed to the public to assist the police with information that may lead to the identification and arrest of the robbery suspects.
The police issued a warning to residents, and especially business owners in Louis Trichardt, to exercise caution when doing their banking or going shopping, and to report any suspicious activities or people.
