Isaac’s NPO aims to ease the struggles of the less privileged

The Lenna Ke Motho Charity Organisation donates items such as school shoes and uniforms, cosmetics, sanitary towels, second hand clothes as well as food to families in Polokwane, Seshego, Mankweng and surrounding villages.

POLOKWANE – The Lenna Ke Motho Charity Organisation is an NPO that aims to ease the struggles of less privileged children and families.

Isaac Modiba, the founder of the organisation says he saw the need to lend a helping hand to ease the burden on these families.

“I started the NPO after reflecting on how I grew up. I find it hurtful to see someone who struggles.”

The organisation also hosts back-to-school campaigns every year, and participate in Mandela Day drives, where Isaac and his team host a lunch for disadvantaged children and donation some essential items.

“What I want to achieve with this organisation is to see everyone treated equally, no matter where they come from,” he added.

He uses the profits from his catering business to sustain his donation, and collects some of the items from individuals who are willing to help.

“Usually with our back-to-school campaigns, the owner of Tendo Events, Ramuedi Mpho helps us out every year, especially with a donation of school shoes,” said Modiba.

Lenna ke Motho donates items such as school shoes and uniforms, cosmetics, sanitary towels, second hand clothes as well as food to families in Polokwane, Seshego, Mankweng and surrounding villages.

They currently plan another donation drive for May. The success of these drives is driven by the mercy of good Samaritans that are kind enough to lend a helping hand.
