Three Stones hosts fun carolling event

Mokopane – THE community of Mokopane enjoyed a Carols by Candlelight evening hosted by the non-profit organisation, Three Stones, at Mokopane Lodge last Friday.

“The evening exceeded our expectations and the turn out to the event was truly amazing.

“The main idea of this celebration was to remind one another that Christmas is about the spirit of giving. All of the toys that was received was given to the children at Red Cross,” said Coslina Mokoka, project director for Three Stones.

Pastor Tim Grage, a presenter on Gospel One, gave a great speech entitled what you believe we become, followed by the the launch of the School of Arts by Coslina and David Jones, logistic director of Three Stones.

The school is for children that do not have access to musical instruments and will be granted the opportunity to learn piano, bass guitar and drums next year.

The evening was filled with beautiful music by David Jones.

Three Stones is an initiative that is committed to aid communities in an around the Mogalakwena region ensuring a better standard of living for children through music and to empower them by turning their talents into an income generating hobby.

Coslina said the aim of all of our events is to have holistic fun that will in turn benefit the whole community in one way or another.
