Serious injuries reported in Landdros Maré head-on collision

Traffic was brought to a near stand-still this morning following a head-on collision on the Tom Naudé bridge.

POLOKWANE – One person was critically injured while another was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Landdros Maré this morning (August 24).

Traffic was brought to a near standstill on the Tom Naudé bridge as traffic officials, emergency service and police attended to the scene.

A source on the scene said the collision happened shortly after 07:00 and that the cause is unknown.

The patients were transported to hospitals in the city for treatment.
