If you're looking for an easy and thrifty way to spend this morning, why not try making this toilet roll frog?

This recycled toilet paper roll frog craft is a fun and easy Saturday craft. Your child will enjoy making their own frog, and you can even make a lily pad out of paper plates for the frog to leap on!

What you need

  • Two toilet paper rolls
  • Green coloured paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker
  • Green cardboard
  • Red cardboard
  • Craft glue or hot glue gun
  • Two googly eyes

How to make it

  1. Help your child paint two toilet paper rolls green.
  2. Stick googly eyes to the toilet paper roll with glue.
  3. Using a black marker, draw on the mouth.
  4. Cut a little strip of red cardboard for the tongue. Glue the tongue on the frog.
  5. Cut two strips from the green cardboard to make the frog legs. Attach one strip to each side of the toilet paper roll.
