Limpopo girl (8) missing after being sent to spaza shop

The child's mother said she sent her to a local spaza shop on Friday morning (August 5) to ask for R20 in loose change but has not returned home since. 

LIMPOPO – The police in Mphephu outside Thohoyandou are investigating a missing person’s case following the disappearance of Rudzani Muhanelwa (8) of the Mavhunga RDP section.

The child’s mother said she sent her to a local spaza shop on Friday morning (August 5) to ask for R20 in loose change but has not returned home since.

“The mother searched for her daughter at the spaza shop and surrounding areas with no success. She then informed the police and a search operation was conducted with no success,” police spokesperson Sergeant Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa said.
