Southon, De Beer victorious
Some 50 golfers competed in the EnviroXcellence Services individual stableford golf day at the Polokwane Golf Club on November 21.
POLOKWANE – Some 50 golfers competed in the EnviroXcellence Services individual stableford golf day at the Polokwane Golf Club on November 21.
Pule Southon won the women’s division, scoring 35 points, while Jan de Beer took the honours in the men’s division.
De Beer scored 42 points.
Joe Legora took second place with 40 points.
Brian Mawasha and Samuel Lesone each won a prize in the longest drive competitions on the 10th and first holes respectively.
Mawasha also won the prize in the nearest to the pin competition on the fourth hole.
Mathabatha Lamola won the nearest to the pin competition on the eighth hole, while Sefako Mamabolo won the nearest to the pin competition on the 11th hole.
Ettienne Anders won the nearest to the pin competition on the 16th hole.
