POLOKWANE – The Rotary Juniors Ambassadors Competition (Rojac) is a debate competition run for gr. 11 learners by Rotary Clubs of Limpopo.

The competition takes place annually and the winner is rewarded with a six-week visit to Rotary Clubs overseas.

Eric Seabela, a Curro Northern Academy learner, was this year’s winner and on Monday, he flew to Germany, where he will stay for six weeks.

“I am very excited. I cannot wait to visit another country,” he said.

Eric was the final winner out of learners from nine different schools in Limpopo.

“They have competitions in their schools and the winners of each school participate in another round against each other, where they have prepared speech, as well as unprepared speech. They should have general knowledge as well as confidence,” said Rotarian, Jack Schofield.
