Parkrun to return with new time slot in April

Walkers, strollers and runners who used to take part in the Parkrun every Saturday can once again gear up for the best 5km of their lives – every Saturday.

POLOKWANE – With most sporting disciplines slowly returning to normality after lockdown, the Polokwane Parkrun is no exception.

Walkers, strollers and runners who used to take part in the Parkrun every Saturday can once again gear up for the best 5km of their lives – every Saturday.

The Parkrun track is situated opposite Tom Naudé Technical High School and the run starts at 07:00 for the duration of March.

On April 2 the race will start at 08:00.

Everyone is welcome and you can even bring your dog, on a leash of course.

One dog is allowed on a short, handheld, non-extendable lead by the side of the participant, and within reach at all times.

Care must also be taken to avoid tripping other parkrunners. For more information or to become a volunteer, contact Jaco Mostert on 071 493 3467.
