POLOKWANE – The Community Policing Forum (CPF) continued with their project to make Polokwane a safer city.

In their latest operation, their Community in Blue division demolished two abandoned structures believed to have been used by criminals to store stolen belongings and for drug usage.

Review journalist Maretha Swanepoel was on the scene with CPF members and police on Saturday (March 12) to demolish these structures, after they received several complaints about them.

CPF chairman Francois Swart says the structures, situated on the corner of Landdros Maré Street and Potgieter Avenue, have been a headache for crime fighters in the city for seven years.
