Michael Ward, chairperson of Limpopo Squash Association, is adamant to develop and produce a top South African squash player through the programme.

“The goal is to expose the children to the game and produce future champions. There is potential among the group and we want to make sure that we nurture the talent.” He also added that they will visit primary and secondary schools in Polokwane next year to recruit more players for the programme.

“We hoped to have more players from secondary schools, but they are writing exams. However, next year we hope to see them in numbers,” Ward said.
