Tshepiso wants a clean environment for a better tomorrow
On October 14 Tshepiso Mphidi and some of her friends visited the Vhembe District as part of her journey for the Miss Limpopo Province 2022 pageant.
LIMPOPO – She is part of ACE Models Limpopo and lives in Thohoyandou. “We planted trees and hosted a clean-up campaign. I have a lot of sponsors who I would like to thank as they provided me with the necessary items.”
Tshepiso says the event was a big success as they cleaned the area from the community hall to the Mvusuludzo taxi rank all the way up to plaza taxi rank.
“While we cleaned, we spoke to our local vendors about the importance of planting trees and the disposal of waste to keep our environment a safe place to live in. A clean environment is equal to a healthy person. We did not only speak to them about keeping our environment clean, but we also provided them with plastic bags to throw their waste in. They were really appreciative of our work.”
27After the event they were able to collect boxes and plastic bottles for recycling. “Lets keep our environment clean for a better tomorrow.”
