Kia’s UVO Connect has been replaced by Kia Connect
Kia Connect’s suite of onboard technologies can be accessed through the vehicles’ central touchscreen.
Features included are a cloud-based real-time ‘Online Navigation’ and Kia Connect Live Services which offers access to specialist providers of traffic information, parking availability and parking costs, locations and pricing for fuel stations and more.
The Kia Connect app allows access via the owner/driver’s mobile phone.
The new system also offers customers ‘last mile navigation’. The latter can direct you for example, from your position in a shopping centre to where you have parked your car.
Kia South Africa says it will confirm the availability of this application for South African owners in due time.
