Tshilidzi’s atchar tickles your taste buds

Tshilidzi Ratshibaya's atchar has people queuing for more.

POLOKWANE – The 29-year-old from Flora Park explained that she started selling atchar earlier this year because it has been a struggle to find employment.

She holds a qualification in hospitality and decided that instead of waiting for work to come her way, she would create employment for herself.

Tshilidzi shared that she also bakes but the atchar has been the best seller.

“I was solely focused on baking but the orders weren’t consistent enough to survive hence I decided to expand and sell other items. I chose atchar because it moves fast, it is a big part of people’s meals as a side and so far, I’d say it was a good decision,” she said.

She explained that she has three flavours – plain, garlic and hot, however, her selling power has been that she can alter the flavours to suit a client’s taste.

“Sometimes a client might want garlic but also hot. That is something we also look at. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. My atchar never disappoints,” she said.

She added that the feedback she has been receiving is great and most of her new clients are referrals. She shared that even if she finds employment, she will not stop making her atchar because she is onto a winning formula.

She urged people to support her businesses. She can be reached on 081 707 4313 for both deliveries and collection.
