[VIDEO] Teffo to lead as first female CDM mayor

POLOKWANE – The announcement was made during special council sitting at Jack Botes Hall on Wednesday (September 29).

The sitting was broadcast live.

The former Chief Whip of Polokwane Municipality, Mamedupi Teffo was on Tuesday sworn in as a councillor at Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) which made her elegible to be elcted as mayor.

She was welcomed by the speaker of CDM, Maite Mohale, as well as by all political parties serving in council.
