POLOKWANE – While learners sold food, music played to make the market day even more fun. One of the learners, Omphile Mashego said: “I enjoy such events at school and I like to sell creative food we made ourselves so that people can taste something different for a change.”
The teachers assisted the learners to sell the products and also made sure that the money they received from customers was counted properly.
“I sold all my hamburgers and I’m satisfied with the support from my fellow learners,” Ofentse Chuene said.
The money that was made will go towards upgrades, equipment, stationary and future projects at the enrichment centre.
