[VIDEO] Polokwane police rescue man trapped in under carriage of GNT bus
The man was taken to the Police Station.
POLOKWANE – An unknown man was rescued by local authorities after he trapped himself in the under carriage of a Great North Transport (GNT) bus on Saturday morning.
In a voice note GNT spokesperson Patrick Monkoe confirmed the incident: ‘We can confirmed that the man was trapped under a GNT bus which was parked at the Polokwane taxi rank.”
He added that the unknown man was trapped between the engine and the prop shaft and had to be rescued by the police, aided by paramedics who were on the scene.
‘It is not yet known why the man climbed into the under carriage of the bus.”
The man has since been detained at the Polokwane Police Station.
