What2Watch: This weeks’ worth-the-watch

Here is Review’s rundown of what to stream on Showmax and Netflix this week.

POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Review has put together a list of shows you should stream on your favourite platform.

What to Watch this week on:

Showmax:

Series: A Discovery of Witches Season 2

A Discovery of Witches is a vampire-meets-witch story of forbidden love, starring Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey) and Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies).

Movie: Freaky

Less-than-popular teenager Millie unintentionally switches bodies with the middle-aged serial killer terrorising her town. As the body count rises and the clock ticks down, Millie and her friends have less than 24 hours to stop Murder Barbie before the change becomes permanent.

For the kids: Shaun the Sheep

With an adorable wooly hero, no dialogue and plenty of hilarity, the bite-sized episodes of this stop-motion animated series from the legendary Aardman Animations (who gave us Wallace and Gromit), make brilliant snack-TV for all ages – grown-ups included.

Netflix:

Series: 30 Rock

Liz Lemon juggles the demands of running an NBC sketch comedy show with trying to fix her disaster of a personal life and eating her night cheese.

Movie: Catch Me If You Can

An FBI agent makes it his mission to put cunning con man Frank Abagnale Jr. behind bars. But Frank not only eludes capture, he revels in the pursuit.

For the kids:  Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

When inventor Flint Lockwood makes clouds rain food, the citizens of Chewandswallow can feed themselves. But a bowl of disaster is about to overflow.
