‘We are not going to fight relegation’

Leopards find themselves in 15th position, with nine points, with only 18 matches in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) to play for.

The Spokesperson for Black Leopards Football Club, Barry Ramunenyiwa says assistant coaches, Morgan Shivambu and Lehlohonolo Seema, together with goalkeeper coach, Sam Banda are capable of steering the team in the right direction.

The club parted ways with their head coach, Dylon Kerr, on Monday.

Of the 12 league matches, Kerr only managed to collect six points, three draws and four losses.

Leopards find themselves in 15th position, with nine points.

With only 18 matches in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) to play for, Lidoda Duvha need to start winning their matches to avoid possible relegation.

Ramunenyiwa said Kerr does not have a bad record and he might coach the team again in the future. “We are not going to fight relegation this season. We want to do well and we have confidence in the appointed technical team. They have experience and they also have our full support. We are behind them.”
