Kickboxers rake in the rewards

Despite lockdown and less time to practice, kickboxers still showed enough skills to be promoted to the next belt.

The Limpopo Sport Karate and Kickboxing Academy (LPSKKA) hosted their final grading for 2020 in December during which members were awarded with new belts in their respective age groups.

Practice will be back in full swing as soon as more clarity is announced regarding Covid-19 regulations. “I look forward to witness how kickboxers in all categories grow and excel,” sensei Nico Myburgh said.

Kickboxers who excelled to the next level are:

Brown belt

Caitlen Nortman, Monika Smith, Wihan Deysel, Christo Nortman and Henco Bronkhorst.

Yellow belt

Nika van der Merwe.

Purple belt

Mignon Bronkhorst and Marisa Nel.

Junior red belt

Theunis Duvenhage and Cyrella Fourie.

Blue belt

Herman Nieman and Damian van Biljon.

Orange belt

Fairh Wolfaardt

Black belt

Danny Janse van Vuuren, André Joubert, Lezelle Kotze, Maryna Peyper and Leandri Peyper.
