BREAKING NEWS – Red carpet awaits Premier

Excitement and anticipation are mounting at Jack Botes hall in the city centre where guests and Members of the Legislature and Executive Council await Premier Stan Mathabatha’s State of the Province Address (Sopa) this morning (Thursday).

Attendees are dressed to the nines as they make their way on the red carpet to the chamber. Cultural groups such as Amandebele and Bapedi are entertaining the crowd. Law enforcers are also gearing up to welcome Mathabatha and Speaker Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya to the parade.
Learners from various schools will form a guard of honour as the duo makes their way to the hall for the official opening of the Legislature.
Opposition parties are expecting the Premier to address what they labelled as real issues affecting the province.
