A group of eight visitors from Illinois and Texas in the United States of America attended the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Polokwane at Our Home/Ons Tuiste last Wednesday where the Rotarians exchanged banners.
The group was the guests of the club and visited Siloe School for the Blind near Lebowakgomo as well as Bakone Malapa Open Air Museum and the Polokwane Game Reserve on the outskirts of the city.
They departed to Kruger National Park on Friday and was scheduled to visit Timbavati Game Reserve as part of their safari.
Organiser of the safaris Charles Hardy said that the safaris are the club’s primary fundraising project and that the income derived is being used to make a substantial donation to Our Home/Ons Tuiste, Siloe School for the Blind and other charities on an annual basis.
