Learners from five different schools participated in PEPPS Preparatory School and College’s recent external cultural day festival which was aimed at promoting language and culture among learners.
About 150 learners representing the hosts, Mitchell House, Ridgeway College, Stanford Lake College and Eagle’s Nest Christian School competed in activities that include public speaking, choral verse, dramatic monologue, dramatized poetry and formal poetry. The cultural extravaganza is held once a year at PEPPS Preparatory School and College.
Personal assistant to PEPPS’ Executive Head, Nadine Hillary congratulated all the participants: “It takes courage and self-belief to stand up and communicate your ideas to the world. You can improve your personal value as an employee by 50% by learning public speaking.”
The internal cultural festival was held two weeks prior to the external competition.
