Polokwane runner-up in bowls fours competition

Bowls players from across the province engaged in serious competition during the two-day Limpopo fours competition held at Polokwane Bowls Club on the weekend.
Teams consisting of four players each came from as far as Bela-Bela, Modimolle, Louis Trichardt and Modjadjiskloof.
The battle started on Saturday to separate the top teams from the rest and was followed by the finals played on Sunday.
Duiwelskloof Bowling Club was announced winners of the competition with the Polokwane team of Christo van der Merwe, Minette Hatton-Jones, Lizette Deacon and Cois Armer as runners-up.
