Residents of the city are looking forward to Valentine’s Day that will be celebrated next Thursday and the business fraternity indicated that the day will offer great deals, transforming shops to a buyer’s paradise.
Most retailers in Mall of the North have special deals in line for Valentine’s Day and with the wide variety of merchandise on offer, shoppers should have no difficulty to find just the right gift for their Valentines. One of the highlights will be the Floral Avenue Pop-Up Shop in the Game Court that will already open on Wednesday, providing single rose bouquets, heart bouquets, luxury rose boxes, heart balloons and more. Shoppers who spend more than R150 at their favourite store in the mall stand a chance to win a luxury rose box to the value of R400. Place your receipt in the box at the food court entrance and wait for the lucky draw on Valentine’s Day at 12:00.
Other retailers in the city with special offers include UFO with their wide range of furniture, while Vitris may just have that special item of jewellery that will make your Valentine the envy of everyone. Wisk your better half to an indulgent unforgettable relaxation experience at House of Asante Spa or buy a gift voucher as a special surprise before your special evening.
Harvest Grill & Wine at Sun Meropa offers a special Valentine’s Day buffet from 18:00 to 22:00 at R250 per adult and R125 for children between 6 and 11 years.
Valentine’s Day celebrations are not limited to Thursday and Forever Tshipise offers a 20% discount on accommodation until 28 February, subject to terms and conditions.
For those who plan a special celebration at home, drinks from Ultra Liquors will compliment any meal without the need of tipping a waiter or paying a corkage fee.
