Local toddlers graduate

Grade RR learners at Local Toddler Pre-primary School gave their parents a glimpse of their readiness for the primary school during their graduation ceremony held at the school last Thursday.
The learners showed their parents their literacy skills and awareness of the sounds of language, awareness of print during their short performance at the ceremony.
They were bestowed with certificates and gold medals to show that they are ready for Grade R.
Twané Grobler, educator at the School said she was happy with the strides made the learners over the past 12 months. “They have been wonderful and I think they are ready emotionally, mentally and physically for Grade R. We are so proud of them and wish them all the best in the future.”
