Baroka Football Club appointed former Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) team coach, Bushy Moloi as second assistant to head coach, Wedson Nyirenda last week.
Moloi joins the club with a wealth of developmental football experience after winning the Varsity Cup for three years in a row.
He was also in charge of the TUT Football team that was crowned 2018 Varsity Football champions in September.
Moloi takes over from Fani Mthwethwa who was dismissed by the club in October. Marketing and communications head at Baroka, Richard Mashabane said Moloi would also work with Matsemela Thoka, assistant coach of the club’s MultiChoice Diski team.
“We are happy to have him join the club. He has a good record and has done well in the Varsity Cup, one of best programmes for football development in the country, and we are looking forward to work with him.”
Mashabane added that Moloi would be on the bench when Baroka takes on Bidvest Wits in the semi-finals of the Telkom Knockout Cup at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
