The Panarottis Lentetrap 2018 presented by Polokwane Pedallers Cycling Club (PPCC) and held at the Polokwane Game Reserve was well-attended with 253 mountain bikers from all over the province and further afield participating on Saturday.
Competitors had the option of competing in the 70 km, 35 km or 15 km race. The overall winner of the 70 km emerged as William James with a time of 2:46.58 while the first woman over the finish line was Margaret Carstens with a time of 3:22.27.
The overall winner of the 35 km race was Björn Nel with a time of 1:20.50 and Christelle Coetzer was the first woman to finish with a time of 1:33.03.
Charlden Nel was the overall winner of the 15 km race with a time of 34:57.3 and Aicha Mengouchi the first female with a time of 41:14.5.
