Black Leopards Football Club signed a midfielder from Lesotho’s national team, Tshwarelo Bereng on a two year contract last Friday.
The 27-year old joins the club as a free agent, after being released by Chippa United in January.
Bereng previously played for the South African clubs, Moroka Swallows and Cape Town All Stars.
Club spokesperson, Berry Ramunenyiwa said: “He is one of the players we have been trying to bring to the team for a while. He is a hard working player and he will fit in with our style of play.” Ramunenyiwa added that they are expecting to sign more new contracts in the next four months.
“We are not done signing players. The Premier Soccer League is a different adventure and we need more players. We want to strengthen the team in all departments. We started the season well and for us to continue with this kind of form and not falter along the way we need good players,” Ramunenyiwa remarked.
