Face of Fashion glamming it up to grand finale

If you love all things glam and high fashion then Limpopo Face of Fashion 2018 Runway Model Competition’s pre-party on 31 August and grand finale on 1 September are occasions not to be missed.
The pre-party will be held at Coricraft at Mall of the North (MoN) with renowned businesswoman Joani Johnson, Mrs South Africa pageant CEO, Mrs South Africa 2009 and Ace Models International Founder and Director as speaker while live music by Straight Ahead will feature.
Johnson is a social entrepreneur and award winning businesswoman. This former model and beauty queen also has her degree in Communications and Journalism and is currently studying towards her Masters in Business Administration. She has over 15 years’ experience in the modelling, pageant and media industries and has been nominated for various awards including Africa’s most influential woman in business and government, and is passionate about female empowerment.
At the grand finale, to be held at Ster-Kinekor at MoN, comedian and TV personality Schalk Bezuidenhout will act as Master of Ceremonies and live music by Go the Rodeo will be heard.
The celebrity judges will include Johnson, social media influencer, qualified makeup artist, Ice Models model Lisa Madiba, CEO of Ice Models Steffi Rinaldi and celebrity fashion designer Casper Bosman with two surprise judges.
Madiba also works closely with big names in the industry and does public relations for the Mrs SA pageant.
At both events there will also be delicious food, high fashion and loads of guest celebrities attending, says Jacqueline Ferns, organiser and owner of Ace Models Limpopo.
The Limpopo Face of Fashion 2018 Runway Model Competition, presented by Ace Models Limpopo, is the first of its kind in the province.
This weekend the 20 finalists will be attending boot camp to prepare them for the finals.
The top male and female winner of the Limpopo Face of Fashion 2018 Runway Model Competition will each walk away with R15 000 cash, an international modeling contract with top international modeling agency Ice Model Management and various beauty and clothing prizes valued at some R100 000.
