Big cheers for Meropa Hotel’s first birthday

Sun Meropa personnel who have a sweet tooth were treated to a cake and champagne when celebrating Meropa Hotel’s first birthday last Wednesday.
This state-of-the-art facility opened its doors last year and has become a favourite destination for many visitors to the province. The hotel was ranked first among the five top hotels in Polokwane by ReviewPro a few months after opening its doors. Peter Guthrie, Meropa’s General Manager, called it a great achievement and added that they hope to remain in the lead for many years. He said the hotel continued to receive positive reviews from visitors and that could all be attributed to the hardworking staff.
He emphasised that the hotel was their latest project but they are planning to revamp the entire complex soon in order to keep their standard high because they value their customers. “We are excited to celebrate the hotel’s first birthday. People love our style and we appreciate the support from the public. We will continue to do our best to make sure that our customers enjoy their stay at our facility,” Guthrie said.
Hotel Manager Bongani Sikosana thanked the staff for their hard work and reiterated that the hotel wouldn’t be a success without them. He urged them to continue with the good spirit to lure more visitors to the hotel, adding that the hotel was doing well business wise. Sikosana concluded by saying most people prefered Meropa Hotel because of their great service.
