UPDATE: Police calls for help after body was found in Industria

Following the shocking discovery of the corpse of an adult male in an open field opposite Progress Milling in Industria earlier this morning (Thursday), the Police has requested the public to assist with the identification of the deceased.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said the deceased had sustained multiple injuries and it appeared that he was stoned because some stones were found next to the body. A firearm was also discovered next to the body, he stated, adding that the motive for the killing was unknown at this stage.
Ngoepe went on to say that the deceased was wearing a blue jeans and a brown jacket.
No arrests have been made yet.
Anyone who can assist the Police with the identification of the deceased is requested to visit Polokwane Police Station.
