Heat on as ANC Peter Mokaba, Waterberg Regions go to conference

The heat is on as the ruling party in Peter Mokaba and Waterberg Regions are scheduled to go to their respective conferences this afternoon (Friday). The election of new leadership is expected to be top on both agendas.
African National Congress (ANC) Limpopo spokesperson Aluwani Netsianda just indicated that it was all systems go for the weekend conferences to start in Polokwane and Mokopane this afternoon. Speaking to Polokwane Observer by mid-morning, he said almost all delegates to the Peter Mokaba Regional Conference had received their accreditation.
And of course today’s chill in the air in Limpopo’s capital cannot subdue the fever characterising the race between Capricorn District Mayor John Mpe and Polokwane Mayor Thembi Nkadimeng, which will seemingly in the end determine who claims the position of Peter Mokaba regional chairperson.
