Fifty-seven local golfers took to the greens during the Polokwane Golf Club golf challenge played in individual stableford format on Saturday.
After an intense encounter Les Cook emerged victorious with 40 points, followed by Charles Mdhluli with 37 points and Johnathan Schulenburg had to settle for third place with 37 points on a count out.
Manie Lambrechts made the jackpot lucky draw at holes four, eight, 13 and 14 but none of the golfers managed to get their hands on the jackpot that was paying 350 units. The two clubs paying 210 units were won by Piet du Toit and Piet Bronkhorst.
