BREAKING NEWS – ‘Bomb threat’ at Office of the Premier

Traffic came to a standstill in Hans van Rensburg Street in the vicinity of the Office of the Premier after what seemed to have been a bomb threat earlier today (Thursday).
A loud explosion was heard followed by the fire brigade, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Police arriving on the scene while traffic officers cordoned off the street in front of Premier Stan Mathabatha’s office.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe as well as Provincial Government Spokesperson Phuti Seloba indicated that was a routine emergency evacuation drill.
