The 2018 Baobab Classic Golf competition that took place at the Polokwane Golf Club over the weekend, was well supported with 140 players taking part.
The competition was in Individual Stableford format and Edwin Mackays emerged as the overall individual winner with 89,25 points.
Individual winners were Raymond Pratt with 43 points, followed by Benhardt Steyn junior with 42 count in and Christo Saaiman with 42 points count out in the third position. Melvin Stevans and Edwin Mackays were in the fourth and fifth positions with 42 points count out and 41 points count in, respectively.
The team winners were Edwin and Joe Mackays, Francois Hartslief and Melvin Stevans with 124,4 points, followed by Thys de Kock, Dwyne Viljoen, Barend Jacobs and Theo Allison with 117,6 points and Neil Rathmann, Niko Koster, Jannie Bronkhorst and Glen Wynne with 117,2 points in the third position.
Adam Milanzi had the longest drive on the 7th, with Glen Wynne the longest driver on the 10th. Julian Golding was nearest to the pin on the 4th, with Jannie Bronkhorst the nearest on the 16th.
