Enter Makhulu 5 Mountain Bike Race now

Limpopo’s best mountain bike challenge is back as entries for the 2018 Mall of the North Makhulu 5 Mountain Bike Race officially open.
A firm favourite on the local cycling calendar and Limpopo colours qualifier, this year’s race, also known as the ‘Tour de Plaas’ will take place on 17 February at 07:30 from the Mall of the North overflow parking area and promises to be a day filled with fun as the route tests athletes’ skill and determination.
Proudly presented by the Polokwane Pedallers Cycling Club and Cycle Concepts powered by Saloojees, the race features a 65 km marathon starting at 07:30, a 35 km half marathon at 07:45 and a 15 km fun ride at 08:00.
All riders who cross the finish line will receive a finisher’s medal and stand the chance to take home fantastic prizes in a lucky draw.

14 February. Entries will also be accepted before the race at Mall of the North on 16 February from 17:30 to 19:00 in front of Trappers Mall of the North.
General Manager of Mall of the North, Sumari de Ridder, says the centre is delighted to bring families and community together for the Makhulu 5 Mountain Bike Race. “Over 500 participants took part in last year’s event, a record for Polokwane. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone once again to what promises to be a great race,” she says.
