2018 is the year that Christopher Combrink (26) has targeted to take Cansa Limpopo to new heights.
Combrink is the association’s Community Mobiliser and it’s going to be a very busy, exciting year for the Cansa team.
“Let me start by quashing the rumour that Cansa Limpopo has closed. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are here to stay.”
His focus will be to give back to the community by means of supporting other projects. “Our first big event this year will be a Shavathon at Mall of the North on 24 February. This will be followed by the Relay for Life on 2 March.”
Combrink gave Polokwane Observer a preview of new things to come. “We are developing Cansa Active, to be launched this year.” Cansa Active will promote regular exercise and physical activity which play a major role in leading a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Young fans of Toktokkie will be meeting a new friend of his this year, known as Lifty.
