It was a clash of clubs with great prizes to be won at the recent golf day held at Polokwane Golf Club.
Dirk Visagie, as the only player eligible to compete in men’s A-division automatically won as he completed the challenge with 75 points. In men’s B-division, Benhardt Steyn took the lead as he finished with 70 points followed by Kobie Smit with 70 points on a count out.
Frans Weijters outcompeted his opponents in men’s C-division to claim the first position with 67. Johan Moolman settled for the second spot as he accumulated 68 points. Naomi Molepo and Luanie van Rooyen were the only ones competing in ladies’ A and B-divisions respectively and finished the challenge with 75 and 78 points in that order.
Keith Hoare made the jackpot lucky draw at holes three, five, six and 17 but none of the golfers managed to get their hands on the price. The jackpot was standing at 1 160 units with 928 units payable.
