The team at South-Gate Lodge and Business Centre officially opened their brand new filling station, South-Gate MBT last Thursday with a day filled with good food, great music and a lot of give-aways to welcome customers.
The signature black and yellow colours of the filling station is expected to become a beacon on the R37 between Polokwane and Lebowakgomo, Sekhukhune, Burgersfort and Lydenburg.
“The whole forecourt was revamped, making it more pleasant and convenient. Our shop was also transformed into a BuzzCafé 24, a convenience shop with extra offerings like a state-of-the-art coffee and smoothie makers,” says Dries du Preez who manages South-Gate Lodge and Business Centre with his wife, Karlien. He added that BuzzCafé 24 is the only convenience store in Polokwane that will have a liquor outlet situated inside the shop.
Karlien, granddaughter of the late founder and patriarch of South-Gate Flip Benade says: “This is my grandfather’s legacy. Everything that we are doing now has been planned and put into place by him. We are carrying out his wishes for the company and hope to do him proud.”
