Limpopo Leak Detection, situated in Mokopane, recently became the first company in South Africa to make use of the brand new ZoneScan Alpha System, the most advanced leak detection system ever made.
The company, owned and managed by Rian van Heerden, is well known throughout the province for the superior services they provide in leak detection. “A simple non-intrusive utility tracing survey undertaken before commencement of site work can provide clear and accurate results on the amount and location of underground services like water pipes, gas lines and sewer lines as well as other possible underground hazards,” Van Heerden explains.
With the ZoneScan Alpha System, a German innovation, Limpopo Leak Detection offers a completely automatic and permanent network monitoring system that allows the user to pinpoint leaks, no matter how small or difficult to detect, anywhere in the water network.
Once installed, the system will automatically notify the client of every leak in the monitored pipe network and at the same time give exact locations of every leak.
The software will assist in managing the validation and repair works and keep track of all previous leaks to provide an optimal asset management tool. The system is a turnkey solution, meaning that it can easily implemented into existing property management processes.
Early detection and repair of leaks reduces the leak run-time and avoids larger and more dangerous pipe breakages. This reduces water loss sustainably, according to Van Heerden.
The ZoneScan Alpha System can be tailored to individual needs, starting from as 20 measuring points to several thousand, depending on the infrastructure and size of the property.
According to the manufacturer’s website, several large cities in Europe has opted to have this system installed in order to save the world’s most precious commodity, water.
Limpopo Leak Detection offers professional services throughout the province and is popular among municipalities, property developers, body corporates and plumbers.
