Miss Polokwane Observer Cover Girl, Ronnel Homu continues her journey to make a difference in local communities.
During her latest outreach last week the Grade 12 learner from Hoërskool Merensky visited Vun’we Drop-in Centre at Petanenge village outside Tzaneen where she interacted with the children.
“I hosted a party for them and donated sweets, cakes, juice and hot dogs. We also played games such as musical chairs with the children,” she said, adding that she had help from three of her friends Joshua Hlongwane, Thabang Mashianoke and Musa Mashele.
The aim of the visit was to empower the young children to believe they can achieve anything they put their minds to, she said, sharing her motto with them to make a difference and that only you decide what kind of difference you want to make.
