Celebrity lawyer wanted after shooting

Police are searching for a prominent local lawyer after a reported shooting incident at Zebediela Citrus Estate that left four people injured earlier today (Thursday).
The lawyer, known for defending and representing prominent personalities was urged by Police to hand himself over.
Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said a massive manhunt was launched for the suspect. It is alleged that the suspect had a meeting with some of the employees at the company offices when conflict ensued and the suspect subsequently produced a firearm and shot four of the employees before fleeing the scene in his vehicle, according to Ngoepe.
The injured employees were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after receiving first aid from a local clinic. One of them is seriously injured, Ngoepe said.
Ngoepe concluded that anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect is requested to contact investigating officer Moshapati Sekanka on 082 565 8505.
