Truck and Tractor Specialists Limpopo (TTS), better known as JCB Polokwane is celebrating 22 years in the industry and is proud to hold the biggest share in the local market when it comes to earth moving equipment and heavy machinery.
Dealer Principal Johan Bornman who has been involved at JCB since 2005 confirmed that the company has gone from strength to strength over the years and currently provides employment to 22 people who, from management to technicians, have made a valuable contribution to TTS Limpopo’s success over the past 22 years.
TTS Limpopo was established by brothers Johan, Leon and Danie Venter in 1995 of which Johan and Danie are still acting as directors of the firm.
Bornman said TTS Limpopo appreciates that every client’s needs are unique and that at times their wants are more important than their needs. Financial needs, goals and circumstances change throughout a person’s life therefore it is important to build a relationship of trust between TTS Limpopo and the client, to enable them to recommend the most suitable product for the client’s needs.
TTS Limpopo is the biggest local dealership stocking excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, vibrating rollers, forklifts, bulldozers, pneumatic rollers, pavers and South Africa’s number one backhoe loader, the TLB.
Bornman explained that 90% of their client base comprises construction companies followed by plant hire businesses and local farmers who use machinery for construction or earth moving purposes.
When it comes to competition, JCB does not have to stand aside at all. “For the past two years we have focussed on attachments for machinery. Now a client can buy one machine and several attachments to complete a variety of jobs. A range of 150 attachments is available on various machines. This result is jobs being done quicker as multiple machines are not necessary,” Bornman said confidently and added that these attachments vary from augers and backhoes, skid steer buckets to cutters, concrete mixers, patch planers, dozer blades and forklift teeth.
A part of TTS Limpopo’s mission is to build trustworthy professional relationships, gather the necessary information from clients and identify clients’ needs and determine their financial goals. “We strive towards the best service and to always be on standby when a client needs assistance. Apart from parts, services and oil contamination checks available at our workshop we also offer field services 24/7. We are also the sole supplier of solid tyres,” Bornman said.
All products used by the workshop department during services and repairs are genuine JCB parts, fluids and lubricants, designed to maintain the performance of the machine and to give great value for money. JCB Filter is designed for protecting and maintaining the cleanliness of the machine and ensure optimum flow and system efficiency, maximised engine performance and therefore reduced running costs. The filters also ensure protection from hydraulic, transmission and engine failure due to system contamination.
TTS Limpopo is proud to promise to commit to service excellence, to give personal and special attention to each client and to review the needs of each client resulting in guaranteed after sale service.
