With flower crowns, strings off pearls, delicate porcelain cups and lavish hats to their disposal, mothers had a unique opportunity to have special family photos taken at Mall of the North on Saturday and Sunday.
Mall management arranged for a professional photographer to capture the extraordinary pictures with the theme ‘High Tea with Mom’ in a specially set up photo booth in the mall’s Game Court.
Mothers and their children positioned themselves on a luxurious chaise longue covered in velvet and lace and used the props to create the perfect high tea recreations. It was not strange to see a pinky finger or two daintily lifted to add the necessary airs to the art of drinking tea. Photographer Mart-Mari Aucamp from i2i Photography said she had a lot of fun helping mothers create beautiful memories that they could treasure forever. “This is the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day,” she added.
Mall of the North is also running a facebook Mother’s Day competition that closes tomorrow (Friday). Participants have to like the Mall of the North facebook page, find the Mother’s Day competition post and tell mall management how they spoiled their mothers on Mother’s Day. The winner will receive a hamper and treatment from Sorbet and will be announced on Monday.
