The tremendous growth that Church on the Hill (Coth) Polokwane has shown over the past five years is evident by the fact that the congregation will commemorate their fifth anniversary on Sunday with a sod turning ceremony, the first step in building a larger church.
The celebrations will start at 09:00 at Plot 2, Dalmada and promises to be a blessing for all attendees.
“We are indeed tapping into double glory with this celebration, as we cannot wait to host the founder and overseer of Coth International, Apostle MVG Lephoko and Apostle Mother Ofentse Lephoko at the event. The sod turning ceremony is a necessary step towards building a new, bigger church to accommodate the rapid growth experienced as we grow our influence in the city as well as neighbouring villages and towns”, Vusi Mashabane, Senior Pastor at Coth Polokwane says.
Coth Polokwane is one of 16 branches that make up Coth International that stretches over borders to minister as far as Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. The church’s headquarters are in Mbombela in Mpumalanga.
The fifth anniversary of Coth Polokwane is expected to be attended by several government leaders, including Polokwane Executive Mayor Thembi Nkadimeng.
Eddy Monare, Joyce BK and Njunju are some of the performing artists confirmed for the day, whilst Sapa Yopa Motorcycle Club will add colour to the celebrations.
