Hurry up with Queen of the North entries

The Queen of the North beauty pageant will be held on 26 November at Bolivia Lodge and entries for this prestigious title are still open until 16:00 on 25 November.
Due to the many entries the pageant is divided into two events, a junior and a senior pageant. The pageant for the junior age group, ages 1 to 12, will be held at 10:00 and judging and crowning in the senior group, ages 13 to 24, at 18:00 on the same day.
Anyone can enter and no modelling experience is required. A free modelling workshop will be hosted by Limpopo Beauty Modelling Academy on 25 November at Bolivia Lodge and entries will still be accepted until 16:00. The pageant offers prizes worth over R50 000, including cash.
Photos of the entrants in the Public Choice category appeared in Polokwane Observer of 17 to 23 November. The overall winner can look forward to a R2 000 cash prize. Sashes and prizes will be given to winners in all six age categories and they will also each receive ten extra points in the pageant judging.
The overal title winner will receive a R2 500 cash prize, sponsored by Modern Autohaus BMW, the main event sponsor who will also exhibit their vehicles on the day and offer free test drives.
The top ten in each of the six age groups will also receive medals. Queen of the North is known for its amazing big prizes and breath-taking rhinestone crowns and the pageant also acts as a stationery drive for the less fortunate.
