Oval racers excel at national event held in city

Spectators were treated to some amazing racing action at the third leg of the Motorsport South Africa (MSA) Tar Oval Championship hosted at Polokwane Oval on Saturday.
Drivers from across the country flocked to the City of Stars to battle it out on the race track. Spectators were treated to some adrenalin rushing action between drivers in the Ninja Midget, Stockrod, 2,0 litre Hotrod, 1660 Modifieds, Hotrod and V8 Sprints classes.
Dylan van der Westhuizen claimed victory in the very popular Ninja Midget class where riders as young as six years competed for the trophy.
The Stockrod and 2,0 litre Hotrod classes were won by Michael Myburgh and Chantelle Lewis respectively while Ruan Maree top scored in the 1660 Modified class.
Was Prinsloo and Roelf Nel were unbeaten in the Hotrod and V8 Sprints class respectively.
