Gymstars tumblers excel at Limpopo championships

Gymnasts from Gymstars Tumbling participated successfully in the Limpopo Tumbling Championships held in Bela-Bela earlier this month and will represent the province at two of the country’s biggest competitions in October.
Head Coach Lelanie Logtenberg said it has been an excellent first year for Gymstars Tumbling. “During the competition in Bela-Bela all partaking Gymstars members claimed podium positions and qualified for either the North Zone Tumbling for level 1 and 2 or the South African Tumbling Games both to be hosted in Cape Town during the upcoming school holidays,” she said.
Logtenberg expressed excitement about the future of Gymstars Tumbling and said she looked forward to see the tumblers perform at national level.
Overall first places went to Jordan Lucas, Andru de Beer, Zoë Galloway, Wihan Logtenberg, Aljay Lucas and Wessel Vorster. AJ Galloway and JC Logtenberg scored second overall during the competition.
